Splash Pad

We had a ball today at the Peabody Splash Pad downtown Little Rock! We also shopped a bit at the farmers market where I scored some AwEsOmE sunflowers!! We had lunch at one of my all time fave spots...Blvd. Bread Company... may I recommend their Balsamic Chicken Salad. Yummo! Thanks, Eva, Elijah, Lizzy, and Rett for meeting Tess and Hutch to play!

Mom and Dad....hot to trot!

We had a Happy forth of July! We headed to El Dorado for a fish fry at my Uncle Ricky's on the River...That was the best fried fish and onion rings EVER! It was good to see everyone and just hang out. Then we headed back to LR to cookout and shoot fireworks with our friends the Harrisons. Jay and Nate started a small fire but it was contained pretty quickly...exciting stuff, ya know? Lil' Hutch man wanted to stay inside....not liking the fireworks too much. Let me tell you, our neighborhoods go ALL out for fireworks. No need to go out for a show... good times. good times.

Have I mentioned, Hutch LOVES to RUN!!!!!!! I seriously have been considering getting one of those monkey backpacks for him (leash). lol! :)

Hutcher man also LOVES tractors.....He spots them all the time and says "trackrr!" same goes for boats and planes.

Tess turns 5 and Hutch turns 2

This year we had a ball planning the kids combined birthday party. Their birthdays are May 28th for Hutch and June 2 for Tess. We decided to have a LUAU for both of them in our backyard. Backyard parties are my absolute favorite! Tess was super excited about teaching the Hula and making shell necklaces....good thing we visited the beach a week before. We collected plenty of shells for the necklaces and even brought some sand back home to dye to make sand jars for party favors. Everyone that came was greeted with a lei and the girls were given flower clips for their hair. All the kids got to take home a pineapple cup, sand jar creation, lei, and shell necklace. Thanks everyone for coming to the party and all my family that helped make everything so perfect! Ill let the pictures tell the rest of the story....great memories from this day and all of the preparing ahead of time. Happy Birthday Hutch and Tess!!!!
