18 months blessed by Hutch

Life with Hutch....so far at 18 months

dear Hutch,
We love you so much! You are just a ball of energy and fun. I can't take my eyes off you....literally. You are climbing on tables, up/down the stairs, pulling things out of the cabinets and lots of other exciting things. All of my tiredness is nothing compared to seeing you discover the world! I love watching you learn how things work, sound, feel, taste, and yes, even break. :-) You are a little timid of others. You duck your head and avoid eye contact....it's just so sweet how you use your body language in a polite way to let others know you don't want to interact with them. You are a "sweet ole boy!" Overall, you show your love to your sister the most (even over mama). You will run up to her...hug her and squeeze her. You miss her when she is at school....I can just tell. You run through the house looking for her and are so excited to see her when she gets home. You are throwing EvRyThInG these days.....balls, ornaments, food, cups, toys....you name it. If it is in your hands, you Will throw it! *big smiles* Thanks, for making our lives more complete with your presence. We love you and feel so blessed to have you as our own. Happy 18 month old!

Train Ride.
A couple of weekends ago we headed to Branson to Silver Dollar City. It really got us in the Christmas spirit. So many lights and Christmas decorations. Bring on the Christmas time!!!

Well, I have finally decided to make my blog a little more private. I have had some various people from different countries clicking on and enlarging pictures that make me question their intentions. I guess the thought of it makes me leery and a little sick to my stomach....so this is for my internal well being most of all- not to block anyone out of our lives. :-) Anyway, I am going to try it for a while and see how it goes. I know it is an extra step in looking at the blog and some of you don't have time for that "sign in" process. lol! Too many blogs too little time.....I totally understand. But, know my blog will miss you if you choose to no longer visit it. If you know someone that likes to "browse" my blog tell them to send me their email and I will add them to my list. I added everybody in my outlook email address book. I am SURE that I missed people I just don't have their email address. Let me know...I want to add them. I am going to try and do a little post on facebook too. Hope all is well with everyone and we will see how this goes. Love, the Fintons!

At this point Tess was saying "I'm tired, I'm Hungry....etc" I told Jay that is excatly how I was when I was little. All I could do is smile and laugh when she wasn't lookin'.

Happy Thanksgiving

Here is a very very quick pic I snapped before the kids "Thanksgiving Feast" at church the other night. They had a ball...Tess chose to dress up like an Indian this year for the craft. Last year she was a Pilgrim. Us parents had a wonderful time at the Farques' house with our own lil' Thanksgiving celebration- no pics to prove it though. :-)

The kids really enjoy playing outside! Hutch especially.... He is into climbing these days- up stairs, chairs, ladders, tables,..pretty much anything that is off the ground he feels the need to conquer it. :-)

Girlie, you are such a blessing to me! I enjoy being your mom so much. I really have fun with you and Hutch. You are so funny, too. Tonight when I was laying beside you after our prayers, I just died laughing on how you pretend to snore. My prayer for you is that you set out to accomplish anything you set your mind to and that you honor God with your life and actions. Remember to bless others with the gifts you have been given and be thankful everyday for "your life". Thanks for making my life fun and interesting. Can't wait for another day......love you, Mama

Trick or Treat 2009

Halloween night we went trick or treating on our neighborhood. Tess is an ole' Pro at Trick or Treating! Hutch learned fast that you get candy at people's door. He would just hold his hand out. After he got the candy, he would proceed to stop and sit on the sidewalk or driveway. He wanted to eat his candy!! Funny... trick or treating with a 17 month old. We have the sweetest neighbors!! Both neighbors on either side of us had prepared special treats for Hutch and Tess. That made Tess feel extra special. Before we went trick or treating we headed down the street to April's house for Chili and deserts. Yummy! A perfect Fall night!!! P.S. I learned how to make Tess's Hair stand-up on YouTube- search...Cindy Lou Who hair piece. We modified ours a Lil' but pretty much the same idea.
