Promises of God

Last night I attended the simulcast of David Platts, Secret Church. It last from 6-1am. It was awesome! The topic was on suffering and Christ's suffering. He covered the entire bible on the subject. I learned a lot. Anywho, today when I was watering my plants I noticed my rose bush. Actually, I had kinda forgotten about the pitiful thing... You see my mom got me that rose bush 4 years ago after I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks. We uprooted the bush and brought it to our new home about 3 years ago. It has never liked it's new home....always diseased and never bearing many flowers. After last nights's simulcast, it was so cool to see that bush flourishing today! What a personal reminder to me of Gods promises. Happy Easter!
